With his previous owner he earned scores over 80% in national tests and finished in the top 10 nationally in the FEI 5 year old division at Lamplight. Katy and Andy are showing 4th level in 2025 with scores in the high 60s and have been selected for USEF Dressage Development Pipeline clinics.
Dogwood
Dogwood is a 2019 Oldenburg gelding (Desperado NOP x Donnerschee x Romancier) who Katy has known since he was a yearling and purchased as an unstarted three year old. Dogwood is the barn's best cuddler. Primarily campaigned to date by Katy's working student Meredith, Dogwood has scored over 75% at first level, up to 77% at the FEI 5 year old test, over 69% at 2nd level, over 70% at 3rd level, and to 81.5% at materiale. In 2023 he won the Regional Adult Amateur champs at training level and was reserve champion at first level. At CDS champs he was reserve champion for CDS training level AA, finished 4th for USDF region 7 1st level AA (and qualified for KY finals), and finished top 5 in the CDS Open 5 year old Futurity. In 2024 he and Katy were chosen for the Elite Young Horse Training sessions, and in 2025 he and Meredith were Regional Adult Amateur Champions at 3rd level and overall RAAC high point, scoring over 70%. Dogwood shows tremendous trainability and huge ability to sit; he is now showing 4th level with solid flying changes and half passes, and schooling pirouettes and half steps.
Singularity (Smiley)
Smiley, bred in the US by Silene White of CT, was purchased by Katy as a rising yearling and raised at her house. He proved his show horse bonafides early, earning scored over 80% as a yearling in sport horse in hand classes. This big black Westfalen gelding (born 2020, Secret x Wolkentanz x Argentan) thinks he is a labrador retriever and can usually be found at shows with his head inside the golf cart, tent, or tack room. In 2024 he and Katy were chosen for the Elite Young Horse Training sessions. In the 2024 season, smiley was never out of the 70s at training level, scored between 69-72% at first level, and between 76 and 79% at the USEF 4 year old test, qualifiying him in the top 15 four year olds in the country for the championships at lamplight. Katy declined the trip with such a young horse and instead spent the summer trail riding (he's one of the barn's best trail horses despite his young age), jumping, and training towards 2nd level, which he will do in 2025 along with the FEI 5 year old classes. Smiley has 3 fabulous gaits with a walk for a 9, and also recently also begun forming a partnership with Grade 1 Para Rider Holly Lovejoy. They hope to compete internationally in 2026 when Smiley is old enough to be eligible.
In 2025 Smiley has been competing in Florida with Katy's coach Christian Garweg, scoring up to 80% in the FEI 5 uear old classes en route to qualifying for Lamplight.
Bonds Best Man IPH (Harry)
Harry, a 2020 Westfalen gelding by Bonds, was spotted by Katy as a weanling at Breeder Megan Sigiba's farm in Oregon, then purchased by Katy on partnership with Elizabeth Lewis as a yearling after they convinced the owner to sell! Harry was raised in the pastures at wyvern farm. He challenges Dogwood for the "best snuggler" title and faces the world with his adorable ears pricked forward looking for humans and fun! Harry loves trails and jumping and spent a memorial week in summer 2024 at Pony Club camp with a Jr rider, where he also jumped cross country, went on nightime bareback trail rides, and played polocross.
Judges love Harry, and in just a few shows in 2024 he went to big show grounds and scored over 70% at first level and over 76% at training level. Harry has huge elastic and expressive gaits. We are bringing him along more slowly owing to his slower physical maturity (aka he looks like a gangly teenager) but we are super excited over how he is moving as he gets stronger. He was selected for thr USEF Young Horse clinics in 2024 with Katy, and in 2025 he has competed lightly with Andrea at 1st and 2nd level, with all first level scores over 70% and scores to 69% at 2nd level.
Fluorescence ASH (GloGlo)
Gloglo is a 2021 premium Westfalen gelding, bred on the east coast, Flemmingh x Jazz x Samber. His half sister was named Reserve Grand Champion Dressage at Devon in 2023. Gloglo is the sweetest most easy going boy with three powerful and expressive gaits. Purchased by Katy as a weanling and raised at her house, he is a favorite of our local pony club, where he would go for travel experience as a baby and be doted on and groomed by herds of kids. Lightly backed and worked and hacked out in his three year old year in 2024 to give him time to grow into himself (he is over 17 hands at 3.5!), he is now schooling everything from first level as well as jumping small fences and being a fun horse to ride for Katy's amateur students.

She was lightly started under saddle in fall 2024, and then in May 2025 had her bay colt Ligand PHD, by the Hilltop farm stallion Louisville HTF (Lord Leatherdale x Negro) who has had sucess at Lamplight in the FEI 6 and 7 year old divisions and is now competing in CDIs at the small tour level and showing Intermediare 2 at age 8. Bred in western Canada by Jessica Kellner, he was reserve champion nationwide among all westfalen colts and geldings at his foal inspection, scoring 8.4 overall with a 9 for "swing and elasticity". He moves as though he has springs for feet!
Fraxinous OBF (Frax)
Frax is a 2024 Oldenburg colt, Franklin x Furst Nymphenburg, bred by Charlotte Morran in southern california. Elite foal with GOV and site champion at his inspection. Still pics don't really do him justice; he's got huge presence and three fabulous gaits! Once weaned, Frax will head up to Oregon to join Toothless for a few years in grass pasture before coming to join the herd at Wyvern.
